Dear Friend of the Orphan,

During an interview segment with Dennis Rainey on FamilyLife Today, our co-founder mentioned that "We were looking at the tree and had to shake things up a little bit" at World Orphans.

Well, we have indeed taken the tree and given it a thorough shaking. We outlined some of these things in an e-mail letter to our donor partners quite a few months ago. For the sake of transparency, we’ve now produced excerpts of this "Inside Look" communication, here on the blog.

…And, yes, we’ve added a few relevant photos again for good measure.

To get a more intimate look inside some of the changes and new initiatives at World Orphans, please check out the following segments:

The Dual Goal – Is it about the children? The church? Both?

New Paradigm of Partnership – Networking for better projects and accountability.

As Go the Cities – Taking a more strategic look at the fields we operate in.

Home Placement – Where exactly should the children’s home be?

Full Infrastructure Funding – Bedrooms or toilets? The home or the storage shed?

Regional Offices – A global ministry demands a global presence.

Signs and Plaques – Giving in secret.

Extra Gifts and Communications – Potential stumbling blocks to accountability.

Until They All Have Homes,

Paul
