Internet service and reliability is rather spotty in East Africa. We have been incommunicado for the past few days with no access to the Web or telephones.

We are now in the midst of the long journey home, having already negotiated Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.

I have written blog entries for each of the days we were out of contact, but will post them after I have arrived home.

In the meantime, please re-visit the following posts to view the related photos that have now been uploaded. Some of these images are sure to touch your heart:

Couches and Coffins – Casket makers are busy in Uganda

Kindred Spirits – Good men involved in the work

Special Ones – Children that especially capture the heart

Committed – Five orphaned siblings with HIV/AIDS find hope in a church-based home

The Last Shall be First – Jesus looks at the "least of these" quite differently (new photos added)

The Simple Things – What are you thankful for? Rescued orphans give us their answer

Tranquil Immersion – A sureal moment in Ethiopia

Thanks so much for your prayers.
